Before the excavation

This photograph (circa 1947) is from the Noosa Library archives. It is the approximate area that was to become Noosa Waters.

Shortly after starting

In 1980, Noosa Waters was really taking shape, just waiting for all of the potential residents to take over and make it a marvellous community.

The essential organ of Noosa Waters

This piece of construction is the reason we can live comfortably in Noosa Waters without too much fear of flooding. The lock is a vital structure that we need to look after for the sake of our residential safety.
