Australian Volunteer Coast Guard invites you to a Fundraising Lunch

Australian Volunteer Coast Guard QF05 Noosa invites you to a Fundraising Lunch at Frenchie’s Brasserie Noosaville on the 11th October 2022

Coast Guard Noosa crews are volunteers, and our geographic area of responsibility stretches from Double Island Point to Point Arkwright and 50 nautical miles to sea plus the Noosa River and lakes system.

Coast Guard Noosa provides:

  • Provide 24/7 Radio room coverage.

  • Provide 24/7 Boat crews available for:

- Escorts across the Noosa Bar;

- Rescue services – Everything from jet skis to yachts holed and sinking offshore;

- Safety Inspections and advice.

  • Recognised training in Radio, First Aid, Navigation and Bar Crossing to members of the public.

Each year Coast Guard Noosa conducts:

  • Approximately 3,600 Sea Watches.

  • 170 vessel assists.

  • Search and Rescue operations; and

  • Helps over 400 people.

Coast Guard Noosa operational and maintenance costs are largely the funded by volunteer fund-raising and several generous sponsors. Help us raise the required money so that we can “save lives at sea”.
