Important member information



Membership renewals


Thank you to those who have already paid their membership subscription or invoice, we certainly appreciate it.


Subscriptions

Just to clarify a little confusion! If you have purchased a 1 year or recurring subscription, you will receive a notification email advising that your subscription renewal date is coming up. The renewal date will be on the anniversary of your subscription, rather than 1 July. You can check your subscription type and the renewal date by logging into nwra.com.au and selecting My Subscription from the menu options (see more detail below).


Recurring subscriptions Please check that your credit card details are current. We have had a few recurring subscribers whose subscription renewals have failed due to cancelled or expired cards.


1 year subscriptions We have had an issue with some members receiving a notification saying their subscription has expired when they have already purchased a new 1 year subscription. Unfortunately this is automated, although we have now updated the message to say if you have already paid, please ignore the message.


Membership invoices

We understand that not all members use online options, so we send out an invoice to those who can choose to pay by direct debit (cash payments can be arranged by contacting us at info@nwra.com.au).


Memberships paid by invoice are due on 1 July each year, as the process of issuing the invoices is manual and the overhead of having multiple expiry dates is not sustainable.


New website member functions

Due to website updates, members now have more access to update their membership information.


These features include:

  • managing your account information

    • changing your Log In email address and password

    • updating your address and contact details

  • managing your subscription

    • changing your payment method

    • cancelling your recurring subscription

  • managing credit/debit card details

    • adding a new card

    • changing your primary card

    • removing a card

  • viewing any trading post/forum post you have created

  • tracking and managing any past or upcoming events
