Lock Stage 3 Progress - week 4

The last update post mentioned that there was -

"unexpected corrosion in the gate pivot hold down bolts. We are currently assessing this issue and determining the rectification methodology. At this stage it is unclear if this will cause any delays to the program."

Today our Council project contact has advised that -

"The corroded gate pivot hold down bolts have been replaced without causing any delays to the program. We are still on track to reopen the lock on 13 November."

All waterside residents should have received a letter from Council outlining the new lock process, including the form for requesting the new access fob and wireless remote when available. Click the button below to access the document and form.

Please note that your existing access card will not work with the new installation. From 1 November 2023, you may collect your new access fob from Council's Administration office by following the details you received or the documentation below.
