Our Neighbourhood Watch Area Coordinator has advised that there have been reports of a pet baiter in the area. Please be vigilant and keep your pets safe when they are outside.
Reports so far are from Waterside Court and Helm Court and in one case a small (10kg) dog collapsed very quickly in a park and has been sick for some days with a large vet bill.
It may assist in understanding which area(s) and what type of baiting (ie pellets, laced food, rat sak) in an effort to further identify and or be on the watch for suspicious activity.
Hi Gary, I've forwarded your question on, but haven't received a reply yet. However I have had one of our members advise that their dog collapsed after a walk last week, very unwell with suspected snake bite (nothing positive from snake test kit) or possible poisoning. The walk was around Noosa Waters and the park between Waterside Ct and Reef St.

Thankyou for warning members. Pet baiter or pet hater. Hope they catch him/her quickly.
